The first draft is only a starting point. The useful part is seeing what informed it and changing what does not sound right.
The project
The studio follows a post from its first subject through web research, drafting, editing and image creation. The working view keeps the draft beside the material that informed it, so each revision can be judged in context.
Why I built it
Writing from research can scatter the useful parts across browser tabs, notes and half-finished drafts. This project brings that work into one place while leaving the sources and editorial controls in view.
How it works
- A subject starts a research pass with source grounding.
- The writing pipeline turns that material into an editable draft.
- The library keeps drafts, images and revisions available for another pass.
What I learned
A useful writing interface needs to show its working. Sources, style choices and revisions matter as much as the generated first draft.
